Set up Helmior in five steps
To get Helmior working, connect your chat app, add your teammates, build and deploy a pipeline, bind it to a channel, then mention @Helmior there. An admin can do it in about fifteen minutes.

You need a Helmior workspace and admin access to it. Setting up your workspace only asks for a name. Everything below can be done in any order, but this order gets you to a working bot fastest.
1. Connect your chat app
In the dashboard, open Settings → Integrations and click Connect on your chat app under Workspaces. Most platforms send you to their own approval screen and back again.

2. Put Helmior in a channel
Connecting the app gives Helmior permission to be in your workspace. It still has to be in the channel where the work is discussed. Each platform guide above explains how to add it.
3. Add your teammates
Open Organization and click Add person. Search your connected workspaces and pick each teammate's chat account. That link is how Helmior knows who is talking. See Add people so Helmior recognises them.
4. Build a pipeline and bind it to the channel
Click + New pipeline, pick the connected chat app, then pick the channel. Draw your stages on the canvas. On the first stage, add a Chat trigger with a magic word such as new.
When it looks right, click Deploy. Helmior only ever runs the deployed version, so changes you're still drafting don't affect the team. See Bind a channel to a pipeline.
5. Say hello
In the channel, type:

Helmior acknowledges it, creates a card on the first stage, and replies. Open the pipeline's Board in the dashboard to see it.
If nothing happens
Go through Helmior isn't replying. The usual causes are that the pipeline hasn't been deployed, the channel isn't bound, or the person writing hasn't been added yet. Helmior says which one in its reply.
Frequently asked questions
Can I skip steps and come back later?
Yes. Nothing on the welcome screen is required. You can sketch a pipeline without a channel, then bind one from the pipeline's Settings → Channel later.
Can one pipeline listen to two channels?
No. A pipeline belongs to exactly one channel, so its records and people stay separate. To run the same process somewhere else, create a second pipeline from the same template.
