How Helmior works
Helmior is an AI coordinator that sits in your team's group chat. When someone mentions it, it turns what they said into an update on a pipeline — a new lead, a stage change, a note — and asks before it does anything that leaves the workspace.

The short version
Your team keeps talking where it already talks — Slack, Microsoft Teams, Google Chat, Discord, Telegram or WhatsApp. When somebody wants Helmior to act, they mention it:

Helmior reads that one message, works out what it means, and updates the right record. Admins see the whole picture in the Helmior dashboard. Nobody else has to open it.
The pieces

| Magic word | A word such as new or lead that tells Helmior to start a record rather than update one. See Magic words. |
| People | The teammates Helmior knows. Admins add them on the Organization chart. Helmior ignores anyone it doesn't know. |
The rules it follows
- It only acts when it's spoken to. A mention, a reply to one of its messages, a direct message, or
/helmioron Discord. It never reacts to conversations it wasn't part of. - It only acts for people it knows. Anyone not yet added to the workspace gets a polite "ask an admin to add you", and nothing they say is saved.
- It asks before anything leaves the workspace. Emails, documents and meetings are drafted first and only sent or created after a yes. See Confirmations, undo and removing records.
- It can't delete things or change permissions. It proposes updates to records. Deleting anything happens in the dashboard, with a second confirmation.
- Direct messages are read-only. In a DM you can ask questions, but updates happen in the channel, where the team can see them. See Direct messages.
- It answers from your workspace's data. It has no web search and doesn't make up facts about your records.
Frequently asked questions
Does my whole team need a Helmior account?
No. Only admins use the dashboard to set things up. Everyone else just needs to be added as a person on the Organization chart, so Helmior recognises them in chat.
Does Helmior read every message in our channels?
No. It acts only on messages addressed to it. On Slack and Teams, the platform doesn't even deliver other messages to it. See Permissions, data and privacy.
