What Helmior reads

Chat app	Messages Helmior receives
Slack	Messages that mention it, and DMs to it. Slack doesn't send it anything else. It can read the messages just before a mention for context.
Microsoft Teams	Messages that mention it, and personal chats with it.
Google Chat	Messages that mention it, and DMs to it.
Discord	/helmior commands. It can read the messages just before a command for context.
Telegram	Messages in groups it's been added to. It acts only on those that mention it or reply to it, and ignores the rest.
WhatsApp	Messages sent to your business number.
Signal	Nothing — it only posts.

What it keeps

• Records and their history. Each change is logged against the message that caused it, so you can see why a card moved.
• People and their chat accounts, as added by admins.
• Connection credentials, kept in a secret vault. Disconnecting an app deletes its credential.

Helmior keeps the messages addressed to it, next to the change each one caused. It doesn't keep a copy of the rest of your chat history.

What it can't do

• Delete records or anything else. Deleting is done in the dashboard, with a second confirmation.
• Change anyone's role or permissions.
• Act for somebody who hasn't been added to the workspace.
• Send, create or book anything outside Helmior without a yes.
• Look anything up on the web.

Telling your team

Before you add Helmior to a chat, tell the people in it that Helmior is there and how it's used, and point them to our Privacy Policy. Our Terms of Service ask you to do this.

How do we disconnect everything?

In Settings → Integrations, click Disconnect on each card. That deletes the stored credentials. Then remove the app from the chat platform itself if you want it gone from there too.
