Your morning brief

The morning brief is a private message from Helmior each morning listing what's overdue, due today, stuck, or waiting on your approval. An admin turns it on for the workspace; you can stop it or change its time by messaging Helmior.

What's in it

Each morning Helmior sends you a direct message with:

  • Overdue — your cards whose due date has passed.
  • Due today — your cards due today, including any date details your pipeline keeps.
  • Stuck 3+ days — your cards that haven't moved for three days or more.
  • Waiting on your approval — moves held for your yes.
  • Your reminders today — personal reminders you set with Helmior.

For reminders about individual cards and meetings, see Reminders.

It only lists cards you're on or raised. On a day with nothing to say, it sends nothing.

Reply to it the way you'd talk in the channel, for example Acme is done. Helmior asks you to confirm, then posts the update on the card. See Direct messages.

Turning it on (admins)

Open Settings → General → Morning brief and choose:

Option What happens
Off Nobody gets it.
For people who ask Each person starts it by messaging Helmior "send me a morning brief".
For everyone Everyone gets it once they've messaged Helmior directly at least once.

Set the default time and whether it's weekdays only. Times use the workspace's timezone, which is taken from your first pipeline that has one.

Your own settings

Message Helmior directly:

send me a morning brief
send it at 7:30 instead
stop my brief
is my brief on?

Your choice always wins over the workspace default, except that nobody gets one while an admin has it set to Off.

Frequently asked questions

I turned it on but nothing arrived.

Helmior can only write to a direct message you've already started, so message it once first. A day with nothing overdue, due, stuck or waiting sends nothing.

Why doesn't it arrive every day on WhatsApp?

WhatsApp only lets a business write to you within 24 hours of your last message. Helmior sends the brief on days that fall inside that window and skips the rest.

Still stuck? Email support@helmior.com with a screenshot of what you see, and a person will answer.
